Prehab Work Shop
Prehab before Rehab-Want to avoid injury? Add Prehabilitation moves to your training and go from pain
to personal with essential movements . Do not mistake prehab for just a warm up and cool down(although there are crossovers) ,
warm up raises the heart rate and cool down lengthens soft tissue, what prehab warm and cool down have in common is their
goal to reduce injury risk. There are about 50 or more moves of which 21 are essential and this work shop will run through
the most useful ones for prevention of injury.
Body Coach Equine Rider Work shop
Training a horse rider which ever discipline is much like training a gymnast- needing great skill, patience
and discipline. Body coach fitness equine horse rider work shop is an introduction in the understanding of the
biomechanics and importance of good functional movement , stability, core strength and positive mind set needed to ride in
any discipline eg for fitness, jockey, dressage or show jumping.
Covering fitness, nutrition for rider, mind set
, mobility and core strength. You will find out what major muscles of the body are involved in riding and how to improve
core strength specific to riding as well as nutritional advice as your nutrition is as important as your horses. You
will learn simple exercises which you can do at home or in the gym with minimal equipment (based on biomechanics and I move
freely techniques ) to improve riding posture, core strength,mobility and flexibility. You will discover how movement affects
your body and how to improve it for improved riding technique and much more.

Kids Creative Lunch Day Work Shop
New - Kids creative lunch day work shop a 1.5 - work shop suitable for between 5-11 year olds
(primary) .Taking them through a health food journey , encompassing both practical and theory at a level that is designed
to ignite the interest and feed the imagination of the children about healthy eating.
for schools, organisations and activity groups taking the children through a tasting journey of discovery, design and
devouring their food creations whilst learning the benefits and uses of each food ingredient used. Educational
interactive and informative - in a fun engaging way!
Learning food groups, finding out different
tastes, textures and shapes of different breads, fruits and vegetables .Getting to roll up their
sleeves and get involved in designing and creating fun food designs /shapes out of food ( eg creating fun food face designs
of animals and well known characters on a plate ) from a list of ingredients and then judging the best one which
gets a prize. Then they get to taste and eat each others creations in their lunch hour in lunch day picnic.

Healthy Eating Healthy Living Seminar Series (For People With Learning Disabilities)
This seminar series at Body coach fitness is developed in accordance with resources from the SCLD healthy
eating-healthy living pack -A systematic programme developed by dieticians in NHS health Scotland. It is a specific
program for teaching healthy living and the broader impact on general food and nutrition issues for people with learning disabilities.
The sessions are designed to be inclusive of people with a wide range of learning disabilities and can be run to set
the needs of the group. There are sessions on general healthy eating, fats, sugars and many more nutritional categories. Each
participant with learning disabilities will receive a certificate per module and an overall certificate of participation and
